Heello peoples

I'm after an old SKT 7 CPU higher than 1gig if possible

anyone got one lying around?

Its just to put into an old board I have collecting dust

If memory serves me right that is a Pentium 1 socket is it not? It was a funny one that was compatable with loads of manufacturers or something like that.

Actually its an AMD skt 7. I have at the moment a Duron500 in it I think it is

Apparently AMD only did upto 550mhz in this version of the K6

I already have the 500 on this board. Hmmmm

Will it take an Intel anyone know?

Come to think of it I may just throw it away unless anyone here wants it?

You can have it for free but unfortuantely I will have to charge postage

Abarbarian, that is a "Slot" CPU not a "Socket" CPU ...

Sorry to tell you TD, but the AMDs only went up-to 650 ... very hard to find. Be aware also that there was, as in that pic, an AND K6 2+ which needed its own MB. SuperSocket 7

What MB do you have? You do know that you will need to set the "jumpers" correctly.
