and what if you were to end the task of this webcomp.exe do you see any
difference? if the system is idle it should swing between the 1 and 3% CPU
usage. there must be an application that is running on the background which
causes this bottleneck. try closing down all running application through
start > run > msconfig and then click on startup.. uncheck all applications
and restart your computer. if you see any improvements, then it means that
one of the programs you deactivated is causing the problem. perhaps it's a
form of spyware? go to
www.lavasoft.de and download the latest version of
ad-aware 6.0 be sure to update it and fully scan your system for any spyware
that might be resident in your computer.. do you use Kazaa? did you know
that 45% of Kazaa contains a virus? check for virusses as well..
