I have a A7A133 mb with a 1.1 GHz AMD Thunderbird. Is it possible to upgrade
with a faster CPU and if so what is the experience?

What version of the A7V133 board? Look between the PCI slots. NoticeI have a A7A133 mb with a 1.1 GHz AMD Thunderbird. Is it possible to upgrade

that there are two versions of 1.05, with and without a trailing dot.
If you have the 1.05. then you can pretty much have your choice. If
you 1.05 with no dot (like me) then anything above 1.4 is not
supported. Anything less than 1.05 is also not good. Here, this is the
official stuff:

Notice the charts near the bottom. They give some hope for us dotless
folks that palominos will work. Well, I tried to get a 1600+ to work
for two weeks. Couldn't get an OS stable and couldn't get prime95 to
run for 10 minutes. High vcore, low vcore. Whatever.
However, it may work fine for you. Good luck.

KT133) compared to A7A133 (ALi M1647). I guess that will make a difference
in functions/availability?
What is the position of your DSW DIP switches?rstlne said:the A7V and A7A are different boards.. There is a bit more to it than the
chipsets (similar design)..
Read my previous post and visit asus
I put in an AMD Athlon XP 2200+ (AXDC2200DUV3C). It works perfect from therstlne said:I didnt change any.. I used the bios to do it
