CPU uage at 100%; 98% in realsched.exe

Hi, my computer is at 100% CPU usage and I can barely run
anything. It says that 98% of it is being used by
realsched.exe, but none of the literature I have from
Microsoft will help me with the problem. Please tell me
how I can fix this. Thanks!

start--run--type in MSCONFIG--then click the startup tab
Click to expand...
uncheck anything with realsched in the file click ok--
then click the restart box.when it restarts check the
donot show the utility again.OK.

I am also experiencing this problem as are others (Dick
Shrewsbury, Marie, Allen, ogi

Dick, Allen, and I all get temporarily cured by a restart
of the computer. Do you?

We also have the CPU in the 90% range when it is slow.

Look for posts with subjects of
Slow computer
High CPU usage

Someone will figure it out someday! I hope the fix is
found soon!
