JIMMY

I am trying to run a program but my CPU is too fast, does
ANYONE know how to slow it down with some sort of
emulation device????

Only real way to get your old software to run at a descent
speed is to invest in an old Pentium or AMD Kx machine.
I've tried the MoSlo (SloMo was the orriginal program) and
it just slows down cpu cycles, which can leave programs
jerky and unusable.

Don't believe SloMo has anything to do with MoSlo.
You just made that up didn't you?

Anyway I never heard complaints about MoSlo.

(The best is to get rid of the buggy old software finally and that
together with the old Pentium and AMD Kx machines you still may have.)

If you are speaking of old DOS games, IMHO if they won't run under XP, they
have seen their day. There are plenty of newer, better running, with more
features, games that will run under a modern computer that uses XP.

Also, there are scads of free demo games that are downloadable and will run
under XP- but you will need broadband to download most of them. I downloaded
one the other day that was 250 MB. That game would take a day or more to
download with dial-up.
