CPU temprature monitor

Guys can anyone suggest a utility that lets me see what temp my CPU is at and also lets me turn my fan on, i have a barebones system which is never off, when i reboot the system i check the cpu speed and temp and its in the high 50's. ( iwant it running at about 45-49 degree's)
its only a AMD 2400xp ( the system case is a XC cube) but i need the system running constantly, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use Speedfan, it's good. But as Mucks says, don't turn off your CPU fan unless you like situation meltdown.
 
Guys, my mistake, i have my fan on Intelli mode, when it reaches 58 it goes into full throttle mode otherwise it keeps at smart mode. But i want a util that lets me turn on full throttle when i want?

i have searched XCcube but all i can find is pishy utils that dont cover this option.

One 'problem' is that err, case ... there is no room to breath in it ... is there a case fan in them things?

What is the MB

yeah as mucks said you are unlikely gona get the temp down as the case is very small so the air will get very hot and will just heat up your system even more. If you want to get the temps down i wou;d reccomending getting a slightly larger case.
 
My system is HOT! (so its been turned off till further notice,

1GB DDR RAM
128 GeForce FX
DVD/RW +/-
400GB (filled with divx)
1 x hot XC cube.!
