Hello

I am running a self built system, Gigabyte GA-K8NSC motherboard
530 watt PSU, AMD Athlon 3000+, nVidia GeForce 5500, 2 hard drives,
optical drives, and Win XP. My question is regarding my CP
temperature. I have installed 3 case fans blowing air in and on
exhaust blower shooting air out a PCI slot. I am also using th
retail heatsink and fan. My CPU at idle is 26 to 27 degrees celsiu
and under 100% load about 32 degrees celsius. Is this a good temp?
have seen posts of people claiming somewhere in the area of 5
degrees celsius. Any advice would be appreciated

Thank you

That sounds pretty good, but what is the ambient temperature inside the
case?

Sounds quite good to me. Do you do any filtering for dust?

Thanks for your help and replies. Inside the case or motherboard tem
is around 25 degrees celsius. I am not a computer tech just
hobbyist. I don't know about anything relating to filtering of dust
I just regularly open the case and blow it out with compressed air
It does not get really dusty within about 4 or 5 months. This syste
will probably last me 1 year before I get a building bug again. Yo
can save a lot of money looking around for great prices online an
making your system, and it is fun

By the way this has always been a great forum for information o
learning

Thanks
