Hi Tony,

1) Make sure you have the latest video drivers for your graphics card. (Try
your card maker's website)
2) Make sure you keep your computer in good health by periodically running
Performance and Maintenance tools (see "Help and Support" on your Start Menu
for that stuff)
3) Go to your game-maker's website (if they still exist), and see if they
have any updates or patches for your games that you can download. You can
also check their FAQ section to see what troubles other people have run
into, or whether the game will even run right on XP.
4) Once you've taken those steps, and confirm that your games *should* be
working, then post back here, and someone will help.
5) And when/if you do post, please include information about your computer:
type of CPU, amount of RAM, video card, as well as *what* games are failing.

Ok? Ok.

Good luck,

And one last thing-- check your fans on your processor and video card (if
applicable). This sounds like a heat issue. There are some programs on the
net that check the heat of your processor. Do a search for them and then
run the program to see what the deal is.
