CPU Speed

Right click "My Computer" and select Properties. On that window, on the
bottom you should see it

It's probably a nit, but to get actual CPU speed (clocking) the
Properties window can be misleading. For example, the system I'm on as I
type is reported there as an AMD Athlon XP 2000+. That's the "name" of
the CPU. The CPU is actually running at 1666 MHz, which is normal for
that CPU. A freebie product like Belarc Advisor (belarc.com) gives the
actual clocking - and a great deal of other info about what's in the
machine, both hardware and software.

So, depending on why the question is asked....
