Hi,
I have a computer with a Socket754 Athlon64 3000+ CPU that has both, Windows
XP SP2 and Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit installed. (dual boot)
Under Windows XP "Cool'n'Quiet" has been working fine all the time, but it
doesn't seem to work in Vista.
According to "CPU-Z" or AMD's own "AMD Clock" utility the CPU's frequency
always stays at 2000 MHz.
I've played around with the energy options in Vista, but haven't been able
to get it to work.
Is it possible that Vista doesn't support power saving with this CPU, even
though Windows XP does?
