CPU load management

I have a 2.8 ghz p4 PC, xp home sp2, 3mbps dsl.

But when im running antispyware it slows it down bad
internet explorer want hardly work.(only use internet
while running virsus/spyware scanners other apps closed.)

I have about 25 Gigs of stuff installed on my pc so scan
takes a while.

Your PC is probably overloaded with junk.

Try this:

- Download/Install CCleaner, www.ccleaner.com

- Download/Install Lavasofts Adaware

- Download Winsockfix, just a precaution if you loose your LSP.

- Restart in safe mode, press F8 during reboot

- Run CCcleaner and remove all temporarily junk.

- Run Adaware

- Run MSAS

- Restart
