CPU is UNWORKABLE??

Boot screen says cpu is unworkable or has changed.

And says press F1 to continue,,, so i do and it just carries on
booting... What is causing this. I have recently attmpted overclocking
my cpu but i have done it before and it had no affect like this...

Does anyone know what is going on???

Bossibly bad CMOS battery.

Replace (they're cheap), then go in to the BIOS, set everything correct
(or just defaults), save and exit.

Also, it could really be that you killed your CPU by overclocking.

The BIOS is detecting a change. Put it back to the settings you had before
and you won't see that message. ;-)

Yep, i changed bios back to 'failsafe' defaults. And now its fine. I
think the reason it might have been happening is because i had the cpu
speed on user define instead od default... Anyway thankyou
