It's always been that one had to use jumpers on the Mo-bo to adjust a
CPU-FSB ratio (also heard that some used BIOS).Now on a new socket 939
mo-bo,I didn't find any of those...so...now it's history and just forget
about it ...or what?

If your mobo has adjustable cpu/fsb ratio, it will be in the bios. Some
mobos do not have this option at all, however. HTH, s

A blanket statement that is false!

Older AMD CPU's certainly do have FSB adjustments. I have 3 of these systems
that I can adjust the FSB on.
