Hello people.
Latetly I was facing high cpu temperature problems. I realized that the cpu-cooler was full of dust. I removed the cpu cooling system, the cpu, cleaned everything, and placed them back. I have done this procedure many times, but this time, I forgot to apply thermal paste between cpu and the cpu cooler system.
When I powered on the pc, there was only fan activity, no beeps, black screen.
After testing the cpu at an other pc, I was convinced that the cpu was dead.
I would like to know: Is there any chance for other parts(m/b, vga card, memory) to also have died, the same way, the pure cpu died??
I found a second cpu, which I am planing to replace the failed one. Is there any chance to destroy the spare cpu, cause of a failed m/b?
Ty very much.
