coverting powerpoint 97 to powerpoint 2000

When opening a powerpoint97 presentation in powerpoint2000 bullet listings
appear as some kind of arrows instead of the "bullet". How prevent this odd
coversion ?

Sounds like whatever font is being used for the powerpoint 97 presentation
is not available on the powerpoint 2000 PC

What font is it?
