Hi,

I created a page by using FrontPage. Now my friend ask me to convert it to
Word so that she can update it since she doesn't know to use FrontPage.

Would you please show me how to convert FrontPage file to Word file?

Please help.
Chi

FrontPage just creates a typical web page. Your friend should be able to
open it from word (of course, making sure that HTML is one of the document
types in the select type dropdown). She can then save it as an HTML file
again. Keep in mind though, Word is absolute rubish at creating HTML.
Chances are the page is going to end up horrible mainly because the things
that you can do in Word just don't work with HTML.

Hope this helps,

Just open the page in Word. However Word is going to add a lot to garbage to the page and may make
the page un-viewable in other browsers besides IE under Windows.

Hi Mark,
Thank you!

Yes! It looks ok on Word, but the tables are still there. Is there a way I
can remove or hide the table’s lines so that the Word file has text only?

Chi

You would have to edit the file in Word.

Suggest you post to the Word newsgroup, as this is no longer a FP related issue.
