I use WXP with all the patched released.
My IE is 6.0.28

1. I have some pages with a lot of zip files listed as links. I right
click on them and select "Save Target As..." and save the zip files.
But I noticed that I am able to do only 2 at a time. If I right click
on a third one while the two zip files are being saved, the dialog box
just hangs there. Only after one of the 2 downloading ones are
finished, will the 3rd allow me to save itself. Even the 'Save As'
dialog box before the download starts does not show up.
Is there some kind of inherent multi threaded mechanism, that is set
to 2. If yes is there any way to increase it.

2. My Status bar is hidden. I would like it to show up all the time.

3. Is there any way ( like in Mozilla ) to prevent webpages from
opening unrequested pop up windows.

Thanks

Norris,
I can safely answer number 3. http://www.panicware.com is home to a great popup
stopper that actually works. Also, I HIGHLY recommend downloading and
installing the Google Toolbar. It has a very effective popup stopper that I
actually run in conjunction with Panicware's. What one doesn't catch, the other
one does.
