Counting characters

Distribution list - Contacts Module

I have a Word document with several thousand email addresses and I would like
to know exactly how many email addresses I have. The best way would be to
count the @ symbol. Can that be done?

Open the Replace dialog. Put the @ symbol in the Find What box and put the
code ^& in the Replace With box (the code means "the text that was found").
Click the Replace All button. A message will pop up to tell you how many
replacements it made.
