(Using access 2003) I have a report based on a crosstab query. In escence
across the top - the column headings are the months of the year, while down
the side are the salesmens names. where they meet there is "excd", "met" or
"fell short". at the bottom of each month is a % of excd, met etc. However
this only counts and includes salesmen who have entred their monthly
position.
Whilst you can see quite clearly from the report who has not entered their
figures as there is a "blank" space in the corrisponding position. If I try
using "count" it ony adds up the items actuaully filled in and not the
blanks as well. What i want is to be able to count the active salesman each
month. I cannot count the sales men as they change through out the year, so
I believe I need a way to count the number of "rows" permonth.
How would it be best to tackle this position.
