Counting Blanks in Pivot Table

Thank you for the help previously with the Pie Chart/Pivot
Table problem. I have one other question as I'm sure I'm
missing something.

When I create a Pivot Table, it does not count the blank
cells. I have A, B, C, D, E, and (blank) and totals after
each except for blank. How do I get the Pivot Table to
count the blank cells? Unfortunately I need this to
complete my chart as a blank answer is considered an
answer for our purposes.

To count the blanks you could use a space character, or the formula ="",
in the source data, instead of leaving the cells blank. The pivot table
will be able to count those.
