All of a sudden my PC takes a least 10 mins to boot up. When I removed
Counterspy, it boots up fast. I really like this program any
suggestions.

Uninstall it, reboot and then re-install it.
 
Counterspy is superb software and shouldn't cause the problem you describe.
Do as David suggests and if that doesn't solve the problem then you need to
contact Sunbelt technical support. They WILL resolve the issue for you and
they'll do it quickly.

machine doesn't seem a seems a bit drastic to you? ;-)

That's not the suggestion. Hopefully one cycle of uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling
will correct the problem noted. I don't see how this could be inferred to be down a
periodic basis.

I thought your comment was based upon the fact the OP indicated the software was removed and
performance increased. Then I replied... "Uninstall it, reboot and then re-install it."
