Registry Key:
hklm\software\microsoft\systemcertificates\spc\certificates\c203f90df6054c2bf6eb81b364f2c022acfa3df7

I receive the above message frequently...sometimes every 15 minutes...its
annoying.
Is this just an MS system certificates update or something more sinister??

Hi Peter,
This can be the result of a program/Service is not giving a details about
itself to CounterSpy and counterSpy can't leave it without knowing what it is
and warning you to look for the matter!.
This Program/Service can be a legitimate or a malware, like your Anti-Virus,
Firewall, Anti-Spyware that encrypt its Keys in the registry, so you didn't
provide much of Info about your Protection Software installed nor your
Operating system and what precautions or measure you did take to see out this
Warning?, try to Disable the CounterSpy and scan with an Anti-Spyware and see
if it will pickup the Key and flag it as Malware or it is belonging to a
security Software installed.
Here are some links and you can download the HijackThis and send the Log:

Thanks "nass"
this is happening on a XP home SP2 machine running Kapersky Anti
virus,ZoneAlarm Firewall,Ad-Aware,Spybot search&destroy and Spyware Blaster.
The key in question lists blob as a subset of spc\certificates.....
None of the other security software picks this up.................I think
its a Kapersky thing but i am unsure.
Doing a Google on "blob" only confused me more.

Hi peter,
It is likely belonging to Kaspersky or the ZA, as "JS" mentioned you can
contact CounterSpy Help & Support or Kaspersky Lab they are good in their
reply ( being fast).
HTH.

Thanks Guys
CounterSpy answered within 24 hours and told me to turn the self defense off
in Kapersky.
So far it has worked...........if it starts up again I am to contact them
again.
Which is exactly what Nass' CastleCops lead said to try.
