I'm trying to setup Counter Strike Dedicated Server Using
Steam on XP Pro.
My game server sits on my local network with a static IP
address of 192.168.0.3.
Running the Steam-DS with type Internet/Lan it picks up
the local IP.
The network has a Internet Conection Sharing on
192.168.0.1 this was set up using the "Home/Small office
LAN wizard".
I'm using the standard Firewall in XP on the gateway, My
system and the GFs both use Norton as an extra block on
hacking.
I've opened the following ports on the Gateway firewall
UDP 1200
UDP 27000 to 27015 inclusive &
TCP 27030 to 27039 inclusive
Problem is that I can only see the Game Server in the LAN
list on my client but not in the Internet list.
All systems can see the internet.
Dose the firewall do port forwarding?
