Counter not working

It depends on how it is "not working"

Does it show up at all?
Does it show as a red X?
Does it display but just not increment?

Are FP server extensions installed on the host server? They are required
for the hit counter. And, you must http publish, not ftp.

| It just says the word "hit counter" without the picture
| under IE 6.
|
| Thanks for your help.

If you see the words hit counter on the page on the host server, it's an
indication that the extensions are either not installed or not configured
properly. Suggest you post the URL of the web site for people to check.

Same here...and, with the word serverftp, it indicates this is not a site
with FP server extensions installed whatsoever. Anyway, no way to test
since there is no web site available.

| When I click the link it tries

Thanks for the help guys but you should be able to access
it by going to www.thecruzsite.com. I am using IE to view
the site which works perferct. The word serveftp has
nothing to do with it not being a site. It is a dns entry
which redirects to a port in my server running the web. I
am running server2003 with fp extensions installed.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks again for you help.

According to my tests, the server extensions are either not installed, or
not configured for the web site.
