Hello there,
Simple question here that I can't seem to find the answer
for in Microsoft Excel Help. How do I count unique
entries within a selection of cells (column)? Ie - there
are numerous entries the same, but within a count
function, I would like only one instance of each counted.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Frank, I'm still a little confused as to how that
works. What I'm trying to achieve is showed in this
example:

Mark
Bryan
Mark
Mark
Terry
Terry

The answer to this should be 3 - ie. 3 unique entries in
the column. is the formula you mentioned correct for this?

Hi Frank,
Please ignore my last comment, have sorted it out. Thanks
for your help. Spot on.
