Count the records in a table

Hi there all,

I'm pretty new to all this so please bear with me on this one!

All I need to do is use the number of records in a table as a variable in my
VB code.

Basically I'm going to set the 'Max' value of a progress bar to this result,
the 'Min' value to 0, then move the progress bar with the record number.

The basic process is to 1) open a recordset, 2) use the MoveLast method to
go to the last record, then 3) check the RecordCount property of the
recordset. Since you didn't give any specifics about your code, I can't be
more specific.

Another option would be to use DCount()
