Have a problem where I have created lots of queries and
have several reports based on the queries. I would like
to total the number of records which are contained in the
reports however some of the fields are text based. I am
able to do counts and sums on records which contain
numeric fields however I cannot seem to total any of the
fields. Have tried putting text box in the footer of
report but get errors, no total or content of the first
record.
Have also tried grouping and using the total column in
the queries themself but still no joy?
Very new to access and am now pulling my hair out, surely
it can't be so difficult to show the number of records or
the total sum of a row for example 10 apples and 10 pears
makes total of 20.
