Could this be a MAS bug ?

I have found that my news group replies do not appear in my news group
reader, Outlook Express, when I have MAS running. If I turn off MAS and send
a post it does appear as it should. The posts are being sent ok and I can
see them when they are quoted by others.

Is this a real issue or is it just a coincidence?

I suspect you are seeing an issue unconnected with Microsoft Antispyware.
One place to check is Tools, Message rules, blocked sender list, in Outlook
Express.
 
Thanks Bill, MAS is exonerated! According to my ISP,BT, lost posts can
happen in Outlook Express if News groups are refreshed at short time
intervals, critically if less than five minutes. Strange but it seems to fit
the facts.

BTW I am not on my own blocked senders list!!

I'm glad you aren't on the blocked senders list--it has definitely happened,
in fact, I believe I've managed that one myself! I'm not familiar with that
particular issue with OE. There are occasions when the servers are not in
synch were posts will show on some connections and not on others. One way
the get an independent verification is to check via the Web interface--see
the link under Help.
 
Yeah, it varies according to ISP's, some are a little time and some are
instantaneous.
