Windows XP Could someone help me please?

Hey,
I'm new to this site so I'm probably posting this in the wrong place but I just need advice. I have windows xp and there are 4 profiles on my computer for my family members. The problem is with my profile and specifically the taskbar. It just dissapears! it is not auto-hiding it just goes after a while and I'm at a loss to know why! :( Any advice much appreciated!

Welcome to the forums LadyTigger, I have moved the post to the correct place for you :)

I am confused as to what your problem is, but I have a few ideas:

- Right click on a black part of the task bar, and click "properties"
- Make sure "lock taskbar" is ticked
- Make sure "auto-hide taskbar" is not ticked
- Make sure "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" is ticked

Let me know if this works, and if not, I will re-think!
