I am running Office 97 servace pack2.
Running on a lone system, using personal folder.

If I create a reacurring even, I can't open, delete or modify it right
afterwards (Getting message in subject line). I do all my work in Month view
and there is a run around on MS help site, but looking for a fix please. Any
ideas?

Can you open/delete/modify it 10 minutes later?
 
No, Nothing at all even right after saveing and closeing it. Bang, I get
that error message. Tried a re-install overtop, and a repair.

What version of Outlook are you using?
 
No exchange server, just a home PC. I am running Win98 SE2 (Due to drafting
program not compatible with higher). 450 MGH, 511RAM. I have been running
this Office97 for over 7 years on this machine. Had to replace HD twice, and
this time, I get this error. (sigh)

Any ideas at all. How can I change permission to allow me? Puter name may be
diff (IE:freeze=old, jtfreeze=new). Could this be it? I see no reason why it
would be when its made under the new.

Well, I'd probably delete and recreate your profile. I'd also run
SCANPST.EXE (Inbox Repair Tool) against your Personal Folders file.
