Hi -
Recently I discovered not all objects are being shown
within AD users and computers. I can not find any errors
within event viewer. This came to my attention when
users were having difficulty logging on. I rebooted the
DC and when I went back in the place it was most
noticable was in my CT-Servers OU - it is listing only
one server.

We have one domain - 2 remote sites with their own DC
locally and 1 DC and a backup at headquarters.

There are no apparent red flags so I am not sure how to
begin troublsehooting this.

Thanks,
Kari

If you believe that you are having replication issues then you should run
repadmin.exe /showreps on each DC. That command will tell you the last time
replication was successful or how many times it has failed and the reason
why it has failed. Repadmin is part of the Windows 2000 Support tools.
There is also great all in one diagniostic tool that you could run on your
DCs to check for errors. It can be downloaded from
http://download.microsoft.com/download/b/b/1/bb139fcb-4aac-4fe5-a579-30b0bd915706/MPSRPT_DirSvc.EXE
