First, I am not am IT guy. Im just a regular end using Joe who somehow got
confused with someone who knows a lot about Access. My question is this...

I have a database on a shared drive that is being used by maybe 5 people.
Its not split. It seems that the database is corrupt but at any rate its not
letting any open it. The message that I get is something along the lines of...

"The expression On Menu that you entered as the event property setting
produced the following error: There isnt enough memory to complete the
Automation object operation of the (there is a verticle line here) object."

There is some other text about macros and expressions but from what I know
about this database (which isnt a heck of a lot) there are not any macros
written, its actually very basic.

So what happened?

Hi Jody,
Good that message does not sound like corruption. Bad it
does sound like a bad piece of code in one of your forms (probably the one
that is set for start up). Can you open the database while holding down the
Shift key?
