I had a blue screen of death incident a couple of days
ago. I had an MBR problem, which I fixed using FIXMBR in
the recovery console. Now, however, I have another
problem. Whenever I click on my icon for my D drive, I
get an error message that says the drive is inaccessible,
the parameter is incorrect. Anyone have any ideas?

This does indeed sound like disk corruption.

Try running chkdsk against your D: drive:

chkdsk d: /f

Unfortunately, if the filesystem is badly damaged, you may end up losing
some or all of your files by doing this, but it is the only way to recover
the filesystem. If this data is super important to you, you may wish to call
a data recovery shop before performing this step.
