Corrupted window about 50% of the time

About half the time when I launch Excel, rather than getting the standard
Excel window I get a window the correct size but with only the status bar
along the top edge of the window. The rest of the window is blue and
useless. The only thing to do at this point is to Alt+F+X out of it and
start it up again. I have posted an image here:

Any suggestions? I'm also beginning to get corrupted Outlook windows a few
times a day that force me to close and restart outlook.

Also, these are all the latest 2007 versions, I am running Vista Business,
and I have all the latest patches installed. I'm on a Centrino Duo laptop
with 2 gigs of ram and Intel's integrated graphics.

I also get an Excel window just as you describe about 1 out of every three
times I start Excel. I haven't seen any repeatable causes. Just happens to
open up in a corrupted manner. I simply right click on the Excel icon in the
Vista bar along the bottom of the window and close out of the program. 90% of
the time it is fine on the restart.

This is running on a Dell laptop with Vista Home P.

Same here. I see several folks having this problem, but no solutions. Did
either of you ever find a fix?
