Corrupted Recycle Bin

I have a separate drive (D:) for my data. I accidentally overwrote it - so
I restored it from a backup. I also had to reformat the D: drive before I
restored all the data (detail not necessary). All the data is now
restored - but when I try to empty my Recycle Bin, I get a message that says
it is corrupted on my D: drive. Any idea how to restore it to working
order? Thanks much.....
