Corrupted photos

i can't upload photos (jpg,gif,bmp)either as email attachments or onto
webspace i.e briefcase yahoo or hompage etc.
The upload process starts and finish well but the images
coming out corrupt-distorted-incomplete with colorful large pixels or
squares.Or 25% viewable 75% black/brown or green.
However if i send the pics via yahoo or msn messengers to someone it's all
fine,people can view it.
All the above applies to video clips too,if i open an uploaded clip on the
web it's full of errors/flaws

All the original stuff on my hard drives are fine and i am virus
free,thats for sure.
I guess it must have to do with data transfer and/or encryption
but i really don't know the answer,thats why i am posting.
Anyone can help ?
 
One possibility is the size of the file(s). Your internet provider imposes a
limit (they all do) on the size of the file(s) you can attach to an e-mail.
Try reducing the size of one file and see if this would work.

To decrease the size of the file for e-mail, web publishing etc.



Go to this site and download the free Image Resizer. Exe file in one of your
folder.

Once in your folder, double click on it to install it.

Once installed, you right click on a photo file (or on a group of selected
photo files).

Click on Resize image on the opening menu.

A window will open, select the size you want.

New files will be added in your folder, same name as original file but with
the word (small) added.



The first time you use it, you may not see Resize image on the opening menu
after you right click on the file or if you see it, it may not work. If so,
do the following:

Click on Run, click on Start and type the following in the textbox:

REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL

and press the Enter key.

Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI.
