Corrupted messages in Inbox

I have Office Prof. 2002 for XP. I am completely up-to-
date on patches. I recovered my inbox using the inbox
repair tool. Now, I can see and read the recovered
messages, but I cannot delete, copy, or move them. I want
to move all of my essential messages to a clean Inbox,
but whenever I try any operation on the problem messages,
I get this error message: "The messaging interface has
returned an unknown error. If the problem persists,
restart Outlook."

Anyone have any ideas how I can move these messages?

Thanks,

Lew

Have you already cleared the Deleted Items folder?

Yes, I cleared the Deleted Items folder and it does not
help. The other piece of information that I left out is
that the outbox in this personal folder will not work
either if I have this folder as the primary Outlook
folder. The messages will forward to the addressees, but
it leaves a copy in the outbox. I am presuming that this
is all part of the same corruption issue.

Thanks,

Lew
