I recently had a problem with my IE at home with redirect links to porno sites. I have successfully fixed that problem. While trying to correct that program, I attempted to uninstall IE and reinstall it. Something happened in the uninstall process and now IE is corrupted. It still works for browsing, but some of the features and options no longer work. How can I successfully remove IE6 so I can reinstall it?

Method 2 in this article works on earlier versions of Windows. Make sure
your anti-virus and firewall are disabled.

I have the same problem... Update doesn't work and when new windows are opened up from an original window, they don't work
