Corrupted Action Settings

K

Kathy Manifold

I have been doing large presentations with links to custom shows and end
show action settings. Recently when I package for CD some of the action
settings move to another part of the presentation and in particular the end
show setting won't close the presentation but takes the presentation to
another slide (not always the same slide). Does anyone know what has
happened and how to fix the problem.

Did you have a lot of hyperlinks and action settings in the slide?
PowerPoint has a limited amount of space for these and when you exceed
the limit, PowerPoint goes a little bonkers (without warning). See this
entry from the PPT FAQ:

Lost hyperlinks, hyperlinks link to wrong place, hyperlinks stop working
