corrupt user profile

Hi,
Could anyone please help me with this. I work on XP Pro.
About 2 months earlier, I created a new user with
administrator rights for myself. I used only this login
to work very comfortably. However, yesterday when I
logged in, i got the message of "unable to load personal
settings as user profile is corrupt". SInce then my
personal settings are not being saved. How can I solve
this?

You should get info on how to copy data from the old profile into a new one.
