I think I got "hosed" during a MS "latest patches" update.
I then comppunded the mistake by opening and running the
bogus MS update via email which has a virus. W32SWAIN, I
think.
But I can't launch ANY program from the PC. The error
is "cannot find <EXE> or one of its compoments. Be
sure.... are available". Once in a while it will show
that it can't load spfwxee.exe.
I obviously can't run the exe necessary to fix the virus
and I am facing a total rebuild unless someone can help me
out.
Oh yes, I did lean a lesson.
