Corrupt Sound Files

I recently installed a program to change Text to Audio and every thing works
fine except the program cannot read my text, Tried speech on control panel
still no sound, Have been told by company that sold me the program that my
Sound files are corrupt, Can they be repaired, Grateful for any help with
this problem.

Try the WindowsXP Narrator:
Start/All Programs/Accessories/Accessibility/Narrator
Your sound files are not corrupt, do some troubleshooting for
your settings have probably changed.
