I think i turned off the power before the system was through completely shutting down. When i start it back up it tell me that Windows did not start successfully. I tried starting it normally, starting it with last known good settings and in safe mode. It says "The registry can't load C:\Windows\System32\Config\Software...The file may be absent, corrupt or not something" The blue screen flashes off pretty quickly and it says something about a memory dump. Then the computer restarts itself

Get your Windows XP cd and boot off of it, enter the recovery console and
copy \Windows\Repair\Software to \Windows\System32\Config\Software and exit
the recovery console. When you're back in windows restore the registry by
restoring a restore point in the system restore panel.

It's asking for an administrator password, I'm not sure what mine is, is there anything i can do?

Try just press "Enter" key if you did not set up one before.

Yes, just try enter to see if it accepts an empty password if it does not
ask the person who installed the PC. If the system was installed by some OEM
vendor they most likely ran sysprep, which changes some things in the SAM
(Security Authorization Module) that the original XP cd doesn't handle
correctly. In that case you need to have a Windows XP cd with SP1
slipstreamed into it, or alternatively download the (6!!) Windows XP
bootfloppies from the Microsoft site and boot from those to get into the
recovery console.
