Yesterday I powered up my PC and a message was posted system issue call this 888 number. My operating program is windows 10. The posting said it was Microsoft I call the number and spoke to an individual who I believe was a Microsoft. The individual instructed me to follow a series of steps to allow him access to my computer. Once he was in my system he said my IP was corrupted and then offered to fix if for several prices above $700. Can you tell how I can check on my own how to fix the IP issue? He did say it was an internet issue.
