hi, i got hijacked. got most of it cleaned up with ad-aware and HiJack
This. but in cleaning up i must have deleted something that i needed. ie
works fine on all the sites i have tried except the msn homepage and most
microsoft pages. what happens is that the background color doesn't load, the
radio (?) buttons (arrows, buttons) don't load, just their placeholders.
hotmail works first time, loads everything but all the other ms pages seem to
only come up about halfway, they don't resize if you know what i mean. any
ideas?
i have reinstalled winxp pro, have reinstalled ie sp1, have done all the
updates from windows update pages. on the windows update site when it is
searching for updates the green sliding bar doesn't show.

thanks again,
Chris

ps. could responces be posted here (for others) and emailed to me at
(e-mail address removed) because you wouldn't believe the struggle i had getting
here.

yes i scanned.
i didn't realize this question got through because when i hit "post" i got
an error that told me to try back later.

seems the microsoft pages are coming up fine now. i didn't change anything
between time of post and coming back now. at the time of post i had no
problem viewing the microsoft pages with another machine on the same network.

mmmm

thanks
