CORRUPT FILES

after i had a computer crash i've been slowly getting
everything back to normal.my problem is sfter running
norton these filles were fond infected and could not be
repaired by norton.i want delete them but i can't find a
path to download them from.they are/c:\windows\dllreg.exe
c:\windows\system32\vxdmgr32.exe c:\load32.exe
c:\windrv.exe if anyone could help with this i would be
happy again

All three of these files are associated with a virus.
You can delete these, but you certainly wouldn't
want to replace them :-)

I have not checked the legitimacy of any of these files but I would suggest
that a System File Check if you delete them. To do it: 1. Get out your XP
CD. 2. Start/All Programs/Accessories/Command Prompt/ type "sfc /scannow"
(less quotes)/ hit the "Enter" Key.

Either:
1. they are system files, and are hidden from view, or
2. Norton has already safely tucked them away in quarantine, or
3. Norton has already deleted them.

If 1, from Explorer window, clik on Tools, Folder Options, View tab,
and clik on "Show hidden files and folders", and then clik on Apply.

If 2, from NAV screen, clik on Reports, then View Reports for
Quarantined Items.

If 3, don't worry about it.
