David

I now regularly get the following error messages
"ccApp:ccApp.exe corrupt file"
"C\Windows\System 32\SR2.dat is corrupt & unreadable"
I am then instructed to run the chkdsk utility.
A forum reader told me that the file is part of a Symantec
Norton program. I do have Norton Ghost installed but have
not been using it.
Does anyone have any idea what may be causing the
corruption or can anyone suggest any other application
that may use the file ccApp.exe. Running chkdsk appears
to sort out the problem, but then it occurs again within a
day or two.

Hello David,

Try uninstalling all your Norton software and then reinstalling it. This
will refresh all those files including the one you are asking about.
