Help!

We have a PC in the office here where the drivers are corrupt. It is for an
older LITE-ON LTN4835 drive. We can uninstall and reinstall it but it always
loads the corrupt drivers back.

Suggestions?
Thanks,
Brian

Well, this is the error we get when looking at the device:

" Your registry might be corrupted. (Code 19)"

We only have the driver that was pre-loaded with the initial Windows 2000
install. How can we get the original driver? I can't seem to find them
anymore online. Perhaps the original Win 2000 install CD?

In addition, this PC will no longer let him map to a local, non-domain file
server. Just a simple mapping to a shared drive can no longer be done on
this PC.

* Check the hardware manufacturer's web site for the latest driver for your
device.

I found out that the drive on this PC just uses the normal PnP drives in
Windows 2000. However, it still gets Code 19 and I can't seem to get it to
work.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks...
