Corrupt downloads

It seems every large file (>100M) I download is corrupted. Tried different sites. If I use another computer on my home network it will download the file without corruption.

I'm not sure if they are corrupted during download, or once they are on my computer. I recently reloaded XP. Prior to the reload I was getting corrupt files. After I reloaded XP I tried to install a patch that I had successfully loaded prior and it said it was corrupt. Is it possible something on my computer is corrupting the files? Up to date Norton says no virus's.

Any help would be appreciated.
