corrupt comctl_32.exe file

My virus check indicates this file has a virus and I should delete it. System won't let me delete and then says load a clean copy of the file. Windows XP Home addition was installed on HP computer when I purchased it. No Windows XP disks. System will not restore to a previous date. Does anyone know how I can get a good copy of comctl_32.exe??
